THE MASK OF THE EMPEROR

This mask was made from the proofs of Dr. Antornmarchi which he created on contribution.
Napoleon's mother gave a mask of her son to the Museum of Corte in Corsica.
Certain Mister Turco, artisan in moulding in Toulon, France in the 1900's, find a way to get the exemplar
from the Museum Director of the time (a retired commander, apparently?) to whom he promised to give a copy.
Once done, the piece was returned to the Museum of Corte.
According to Mister Turco's descendant, the base was made by his great grand-father.
